Brad Woodle

Nine and a half years later who would have guessed that we’d all be where we are, I’d still be going to school, and it’s really true that I’m “responsible for putting together a class reunion”. Was that really in the contract? A special Thanks to Jessica Moriarty/Olson and ALL who are and will be helping to make this dream we all laughed at 10 years ago, a reality. THE TEN-YEAR REUNION!

About ME: After high school I attended Morningside College for two years before transferring to UNI in the fall of 2000- It was the best move of my life. Here I realized that partying was much more important in the college life than I had ever experienced before. Which leads us to Spring Break! In 1999 I started my own branch of a spring break company, which broke over a million in sales. It was a nice little party fund so to say. Attendees over the years: Statz, Fatty, and many other visitors- Remember the Pent House Suites, Beer Bongs and well… good times! And yes, there are still unforeseen pictures floating around.

Speaking of Good Times: Wrestling guys remember the multiple trips to state wrestling in the same year. Whether we wrestled, kicked some butt, sent 11 to state, or just went to Eat Again! It was FUN! Who can forget the wonderful pep rallies and student council dances? Thanks class for always being entertaining- we were the best!

Anyways-At UNI, in addition to the party life, I became super involved serving as the president of multiple groups, honor societies, and realizing what I wanted to do in Life- it was to be a Doctor of Chiropractic. Graduating with high honors I went to Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis. Here I worked my tail off taking between 26-32 credits per semester for 10 semesters, year round. I served as the Student body president, a member of the Board of Trustees, delegate for the student ACA- American Chiropractic Association and much more- I never slept! Ohh, and we still managed to party a bit too J In my last year, after handing over the presidency, I started Acupuncture courses and I am now Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture as well.

Did Minnesota, did Iowa, and I was ready for a new spot. For my externship I sought out positions in multiple areas and choose Kansas City as my ultimate destination. Currently I work in a clinic titled Anderson Physical Medicine in Overland Park, Kansas. We are a multidisciplinary clinic with 4 Doctors of Chiropractic, 1 Physical Therapist, 1 Massage Therapist, 2 of us are board certified in Acupuncture, and 6 staff. It’s been a wonderful experience however my next goal is to either purchase the current clinic I’m in or open

Did I say- Still in School? Yep, right now I’m working on my sub-specialty as a sports physician and will be board eligible by May of this year. Then…….. My goal is to continue seeking degrees and certifications until the letters behind my name are longer than my name: Bradley Michael Woodle. I’ve got a lot of work to do!

What about my social life: OK, after attending only 8 spring breaks I finally decided to settle down. I’ve been seeing a wonderful girl, Christina Arel, for 21+ months now. She is a professor of radiological sciences and the clinical coordinator at Avila University, a private Univ. here in Kansas City. We have two kitties named Toto and Kaela and despite both of our busy schedules live together in my house in Olathe, KS.

My 5-year Goal is to Start a practice, get 2 more degrees, and start a family!

What I miss most about high school is the friends: I miss seeing everybody’s smiling faces in the hall, laughing at our funny teachers bad jokes, and being close with so many people. I hope this message reaches as many of you as possible- I miss seeing your faces. Please do your very best to attend our reunion so we can create more life-long memories of our friendships.

See you all soon! ~Dr. Brad Woodle
